Andrew Smith Throwbacks
Welcome back followers and random clickers to the Bigg-Bell Films blog. August 11th 2011 marks the 4 year anniversary of the release of my first skate video project "Down To Skate". I had a great time filming it and miss Denver every time I watch it. Thank you so much to all you Colorado skateboarders that attended the premier. For those of you who missed out or want to see it again. I am posting the entire "Down To Skate" video up on my blog August 11th! Check in for updates.
The videos I am posting today are of my good friend Mr. Andrew Smith. This guy is seriously one of the most talented skateboarders I have ever watched skate and I am not just saying that because he is my friend. He got so much footage filming for "Down To Skate" that we ended up having two full parts full of throw away stuff. He was so good and so consistent already back then. I cant wait to see what he filmed for his new part in the "H-DTS" video dropping later this year.

Random Still Shots
Welcome back to the Bigg-Bell Films Blog. As all of you following my blog probably already know, I am a skateboarder for life. That being said, so far most of the content posted on my blog has been focused mainly on skateboarding… but don't be fooled, skateboarding is not the only thing Bigg-Bell Films is about. My goal is to shoot pictures and video that bring my viewer to a different place in time. A look through my lens to see the world through my eyes.
Todays post is some still shots I took in the spring last year. I was really into insects at the time. I appreciate any comments or feedback. Thank you blog followers! Julian Christianson Throwbacks
Hello everyone. Happy Friday! Welcome back to the Bigg-Bell Films blog. Today I bring to you some way back footage from Colorado native Julian Christianson. All this footage was shot between 2005-2006. It's crazy to see how much Julian's skating has evolved over the years. I always knew when Julian grew up he would be a force to be reckoned with. Look out for Julian's "Aberrican Me" spot on the Berrics.com out now and his new part coming out in the "HDTS" video.

Bad Times
Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Bigg-Bell Films blog. Today I am posting a clip that I shot early this year of Brazilian skateboarder Fabio Castilho. Contrary to popular belief skateboarding isn't all gum drops and lolly pops. If you want to be a pro skateboarder it takes dedication and persistence. These guys are out there daily risking life and limb trying to get clips. Sometimes what seems to be a minor tweak in the knee or ankle can end up being a serious injury that puts them out for months. Get well Fabio! Hopefully the knee is all healed up by now.

Namm My Life Video
Hello again everyone! I know its been a while since my last update. I have been working on a lot of different projects and staying busy. I can't wait to showcase some of my new work... but I have a lot of older videos that I am going to build up with while I am working on getting more followers to my blog. The video I am posting today was a short music video I shot in the summer of 2007 in Queens, NY. I feel like the video ended up being a bit of a let down. I really wish I had more to work with on this one, I literally shot 4 takes in one afternoon and that is all I had to work with. The artist Namm is a really talented lyricist with a grimy NY style and swagger for days. I see big things happening for this guy. Keep an eye out for Namm!

Cody Schulze in "Down To Skate Cutting Room Floor"
The first video I am posting up is some old video footage of Mr. Cody Grey-Hawk Schulze shot around 2006. These were all clips that didn't make it into Cody's video part in "Down To Skate". I plan to re-release the entire "Down To Skate" video on August 11, 2011 exactly 4 years after it's premier in 2007. Also look out for new DTS crew video dropping 2011 called "H-DTS" from producer Tristan Minton. Enjoy!
